Commissions

an old piece of paper with torn edges

A one-of-a-kind illustration, in my signature style, created around the person, place, or thing you love most.

My philosophy

Commissions are one of my favorite parts of what I do. There's something really special about making a piece that exists nowhere else in the world - built around your idea, your story, or someone you want to celebrate. Whether it's a portrait, a fan art concept, a gift for a pop culture obsessive, or something completely out of left field, I'd love to make it with you.

What I Create

Every commission is illustrated in my signature style - warm linework, retro-inspired color, and that vintage storybook feeling that makes Kellsworth Ink work feel familiar the first time you see it.

Commission types I currently take:

- 🎨 Character & Portrait Illustrations - People, pets, or fictional characters, reimagined in the Kellsworth Ink style

- 🌟 Fan Art & Pop Culture Pieces - Got a favorite character, film, or era that deserves the treatment? Let's talk.

- 🎁 Gift Commissions - A truly unique present for the collector, the fan, or the person who has everything. And it's not just illustrations! I can create custom cake toppers for weddings & birthdays, wine stoppers, nesting dolls, wearable art like brooches and pins, etc.

- ✉️ Custom Cards & Prints - Commemorating milestones, celebrations, or just because

- 💼 Licensing & Commercial Work - Looking to use Kellsworth Ink art for a project or product? Reach out and let's discuss terms.

Not sure if your idea fits? Send it anyway. The answer is usually yes.

How It Works

1. Send Your Idea

Fill out the inquiry form below with as much detail as you'd like. Reference images, vibes, colors, specific requests - the more context you give me, the better I can bring your vision to life.

2. We Talk It Through

I'll get back to you within a few days to discuss the concept, timeline, and pricing. Nothing moves forward until we're both excited about it.

3. I Get to Work

Once we've agreed on the details and a deposit is received, I'll start creating. I'll share progress check-ins so you can weigh in before the final piece is finished.

4. You Get Your Art

Final work is delivered in whichever way works best for the project.

What I Don't Take

I want every commission to be something I'm genuinely proud to put my name on. With that in mind, there are a few things I don't take on:

- Work that infringes on another artist's original style or intellectual property

- Projects with turnaround requirements I can't realistically meet

If you're not sure whether your idea is a fit, just ask. I'd rather have the conversation than have you wonder.
